A nurse accused of killing several babies will stand trial on Tuesday, October 4, 2022. The charges against Lucy Letby, 32, say that between June 2015 and June 2016, the nurse killed five boys and two girls and tried to kill five boys and five girls.
The person from Hereford worked as a neonatal nurse at the hospital desk in Chester. In 2011, she got a degree in nursing from the University of Chester. After she graduated, she went to work at Liverpool Women’s Hospital.
In 2018, Letby was arrested for killing eight babies at Chester Hospital, where she worked. In June 2019, she was retaken into custody because she tried to kill three more babies.
