Faleena Hopkins Bio – Faleena Hopkins Wiki
Faleena Hopkins a popular self-published romance novelist has been missing since she was released from jail last month in Teton County, Wyoming, where she had led police on a high-speed chase.
Faleena Hopkins is 52 years old.
DETAIL OF INCIDENCE:
Faleena Hopkins has been missing since January 30, a friend told the Jackson Hole Daily on Friday.
She was arrested on January 27 after National Park Service police saw her vehicle stopped on the road at Jackson Lake Junction. When the officers tried to check on her, she took off, leading them on a 24-mile chase that ended when the officers deployed spike strips.
Because the incident took place in a national park, she was charged with federal counts of stopping or parking on the roadway, operating in excess of the posted speed limit, and fleeing or attempting to elude police.”
She was released from jail on January 30 and hasn’t been seen since, according to the Wyoming Division of Criminal Investigations’ Missing Persons unit.
The DCI describes her as 5 feet 7 inches tall and 135 pounds with green eyes and blonde hair. She has an infinity symbol tattooed on her left wrist, “Follow All Instincts” on her right wrist, a lion face on her left shoulder, and a hummingbird on her right ankle.
Hopkins is the author of the “Coker Brothers” series of self-published romance novels. According to the Daily, she successfully trademarked the word “cocky,” which appears in all her book titles, but surrendered the trademark when other novelists protested.
She is due to appear in court for an arraignment on the January 27 charges on February 28.
